I am married to Eva, who is from Austria, and we met in Bible school. On March 10, 2010, Eva gave birth to our twin boys, Miles and William. We’re so excited!
I am the Lead Pastor of Thousand Hills International Church (formerly called Hilversum International Christian Center or HICC), a church about 30 minutes east of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I planted this church with my wife Eva and a team in 2006. Out of this church plant, we helped plant New Day International Church in Almere in September 2007. Currently, we are working on starting a second service at Thousand Hills. Hopefully, in the coming few years, we’ll start a couple of off-site campuses in the cities and towns near us.
I am helping start a church planting network called Europe Advance, a network that is a European partner of the Association of Related Churches, a state-of-the-art church planting network in the US. It’s our passion to see many more churches planted in Holland and the rest of Europe. New and relevant churches are desperately needed to bring a spiritual change to Europe.
We are part-time missionaries with Stichting Opdracht tot Wereldzending (OWZ), which will allow them to work part-time for Europe Advance by the end of 2010. We’re still looking for supporters that will help us raise a monthly budget of 1200 Euros (1600 USD). Click here if you would like to help us raise that budget.
Even though Europe has drifted away from the Christianity, we believe that God is preparing our continent for a new day in which people will again call out to God. Will you pray for us that we can be catalysts in bringing about that change?
